Each transmission goes through several phases, in order:
- 400 ms of tone #1, 1600 ms of tone #16 – repeat for exactly two minutes
- Tone string “6666622662626”
- Tones #5 and #3 alternating 20 times in total, starting with #5
- 10 spaces
- Message: 5-digit groups, followed by a space
- End of transmission: Tones #4 and #5 alternating 20 times in total, starting with #4
Null message takes the following format: “0#### 00001 00000 10140”, where # can be any number.
In the actual messages, the first group always starts with “0”, the second group is the amount of groups in the message minus three, and the third group serves an unknown special purpose. Multiple messages are separated by “00000 00000”.
