FSK 200/500 is part of the Russia E06 station, as are E06, E17, G06, S06, V06, V23, M14, M24 and FSK 200/1000.

Identical transmissions are always sent three times, each 10 minutes after the prvious one. The first transmission is always sent at any 10-minute interval of an hour. The frequencies of the following transmissions get lower with each tranmission, if the first transmission was under 7mHz, then usually by 1mHz, if the first transmission was above 7mHz, then usually by 2mHz.
Transmissions are based on the ITA2 alphabet with 1.5 stop bits. When recorded in USB, high frequency is space, low is mark. The text has no line breaks, but is formatted into lines of specific meaning.
Messages are sent in 5-digit groups, which are in lines of 3 groups each, e.g.
“=79011 045066951494988154”
The first character indicates whether the message continues or ends.
- Continues: “=”
- Ends: “)”
Then comes a three-digit number with an unknown purpose, in this example “790”.
After that comes the two or three-digit line number, which increases with each line of a transmission. In this example it is “11”.
This is followed by two spaces, ” “
Then comes the message (?) of three five-digit groups with no spaces in between, in this example: “045066951494988”
Then comes an ending with unknown purpose consisting of either:
- A two-digit number and a space, e.g. “15 “
- A three-digit number, as in the example, e.g. “154”
The last group of a message is always “00000”, showing that it is the end.
If a transmission contains more than one message, the messages are separated by two lines just containing “00000 00000 00000”
The transmissions are repeated for seven or eight minutes.
The transmission ends after an about 30-second long tone.
HOWEVER, nearly all transmissions are null messages, such as the example below:
“)5761 00000++++++++++162”
